ISO 9001, ISO 14001 dan OHSAS 18001
This new standard, which will replace OHSAS 18001, follows the approach of other management systems such as ISO 14001 and ISO 90001. While ISO 45001 draws on certain aspects of OHSAS 18001, it is a new and distinct standard, not a revision or update, and is due to be phased out to organizations gradually over the next three years. Businesses will need to ensure their current thinking and worksite safety practices are in order to maintain organizational compliance.

Organizations can apply to have their API Spec Q1, API Spec Q2, ISO 9001, ISO 14001, or OHSAS 18001 management system registered by APIQR (an ANAB-accredited certification body) after their initial on-site audit and maintain their management system registrations by annual on-site audits thereafter. These companies are also subject to unscheduled audits.
ISO 45001 is set to replace OHSAS 18001 over three years following its publication in March 2018.[10] BSI will formally withdraw OHSAS 18001 in September 2021, at the end of the extended migration period (due to COVID-19).[11][12] ISO 45001 uses the management system standard structure guideline Annex SL to allow for simplified integration with other management system standards, such as ISO 9001 and ISO 14001.[13] The International Accreditation Forum has published requirements for migration from OHSAS 18001 to ISO 45001.[14]
Safety management systems have been around for a number of years, and they come in several different variations. Management systems in general are what they sound like: a framework for systematically managing an aspect of an organization. There are well known frameworks for managing quality (ISO 9001), the environment (ISO 14001), and health and safety (OHSAS 18001, ANSI Z10, and VPP).

Bagaimana konsultan membantu perusahaan menuju Sistem Manajemen Integrasi atau Sistem Manajemen Terpadu?. Saat ini banyak perusahaan yang telah memiliki seritifikasi ISO antara lain ISO 9001 dan OHSAS 18001 atau ISO 14001, namun masih belum terintegrasi dengan baik. Manajer kesulitan dengan bertambahnya sistem manajemen yang harus diterapkan dalam organisasi. Integrasi berarti menyatukan beberapa sistem menjadi satu sistem yang terpadu. Kemampuan sistem untuk dapat menjadi satu karena adanya persamaan tujuan dari masing-masing sistem, termasuk beberapa persyaratan yang bersifat generik atau sama untuk masing-masing sistem.
Namun tetap ada resiko yang perlu perusahaan perhatikan dalam penerapan sistem terpadu ini. Dalam audit sertifikasi ada kategori temuan yang bersifat mayor. Temuan mayor apabila ada salah satu persyaratan tidak diterapkan sama sekali oleh perusahaan. Apabila perusahaan menerapkan sistem terpadu hal ini harus diperhatikan karena tidak jalannya salah satu sistem baik itu ISO 9001, 18001 atau 14001 akan mengakibatkan keseluruhan sistem ada dalam masalah.
This book expands the understanding of an integrated management system (IMS) globally. It not only saves money, but more importantly it contributes to the maintenance and efficiency of business processes and conformance standards such as ISO 9001, AS9100, ISO/TS 16949, ISO 14001, OHSAS 18001 / ISO 45001, FSSC 22000, or other GFSIStandards.
These results correspond with reported motivations for adopting the Standard. Based on user rankings of factors influencing their adoption of the standard, the strongest environmental drivers for adopting ISO 14001 included commitment to environmental protection/conservation, and reduction of risk of adverse environmental impact. Primary influences related to business management included customer requirements and public image. However, while opportunities for integration with other management standards applied by the organization (such as ISO 9001, ISO 50001, ISO 26000, and OHSAS 18001) were not ranked in the top tier as a motivating factor, more than half of user responses indicated high value for business management in this area.
