Death Dimension

A cross-sectional survey to investigate relationships between coronavirus anxiety, individual death attitudes, and personal worldview was conducted among 202 German-speaking adults in Central Europe. Results indicated that death anxiety significantly predicts coronavirus anxiety beyond sociodemographic variables. Women reported higher coronavirus anxiety than men. Against expectations, dimensions of personal worldview were hardly related to coronavirus anxiety. In contrast, we found evidence for a curvilinear relationship between religiosity as well as atheism and negative death attitudes. Our study contributes to recent discussions about death anxiety as a transdiagnostic factor in psychopathology and yields important implications for psychosocial support in the current pandemic.

Comments: The Death Dimension is a waystation of sorts for the spirits of those who have suffered physical death, but whose souls have not been claimed by any of the various "After lifes" of the Marvel Universe. The Death Dimension is referred to by that name in MARVEL FANFARE #6, but the existence of such a place is hinted at on several different occasions in Marvel comics, using such euphemisms as the "Land of Shades," the "Realm of Shadows," and the like. The "Dimension of Death" Balder visited in THOR #177 is, however, not the same place.

The Doom Dimension (Japanese version: Death Dimension (デス次元, Desu Jigen?)) is an alternate dimension from the real world, possibly also in New Vestroia. All the Bakugan are afraid to be sent to this dimension. It is known that no Bakugan or humans has ever returned from there until the Brawlers and their Bakugan were released from here by the Legendary Soldiers.

After Tree killed Gregory, Carter showed up and helped Lori onto a stretcher. Tree, feeling guilty for killing Lori in the first dimension (even though it was self-defence), apologized to Lori for how things turned out, and how she wished things could've been different with her first dimension doppelgänger; Lori had no idea know what Tree meant and what she apologized for (after all, Tree has just saved her twice from a certain death). Presumably, she was treated and eventually regained her health.[1]

When it comes to the mysteries of our universe and human life, the biggest mystery that many are curious, but also clueless about, is death. Religions have called death the only truth and afterlife as the gift (or curse) that we get depending on our conduct on this planet.

But none of this has been proven -- no one really knows what lies ahead. However, one American medical doctor and scientist, Robert Lanza, in his book, Biocentrism, states that death could actually be a door to an endless number of universes.

What follows in this article are some important points of consideration, but the list is introductory in nature at best. There is a strong focus on religions because religion can be thought of as a cultural system of meaning that helps to solve problems of uncertainty, powerlessness, and scarcity that death creates. In placing death within a religious perspective, bereaved persons find meaning for an event that for many is inexplicable.1 (Each underlined heading is a link to further resources for readers.) 041b061a72
