She then realizes that she could have been his accomplice and then tries to back up that she didn't know what really happened. Later, Brooke visits Daniel and brings him snacks. She then talks to him and tries to make sure that he is ok.
Brooke brings Daniel in after coming back from the hospital. Brooke then asks Daniel to apologize to her and she apologizes to him. After Daniel talks rudely to her, she backs off almost instantly and helps Sophie with her captain campaign. She then visits Marcus and asks whether she had scared him, while apologizing, but Marcus assures her that it was okay, asking Brooke how she was. Brooke then reveals that she had a question for Marcus, beginning by saying that it may sound a little strange. Brooke starts, saying that if she wanted to blow up a car, without leaving evidence behind, how would she do that. Brooke, seeing the concerned look on Marcus' face, assures him that it was just for a science class, with Marcus then clearing his throat, before revealing that Brooke could short-circuit the car-engine. This prompts Brooke to ask how she'd manage to hide the evidence of this short circuitry, with Marcus then asking her whether that was what they taught in class, while chuckling. However, Marcus then expresses to Brooke that he was in a bit of a hurry, with Brooke then asking if there'd be a way to look at a burnt car and figure out what had happened. Marcus, then just says that he really didn't know, with Brooke then guessing it could of been caught on a surveillance camera, as Marcus re-iterates how busy he was, prompting Brooke to head off. Brooke then realizes that something is wrong.
The ranger is approaching Alex and Brooke. Brooke then recognizes him as the park ranger, noting that she'd heard about him on the news. Seeing the look on the ranger's face, Alex asks whether he was ok. The ranger then points his finger at Brooke, approaching her as he yells that she was responsible for what happened to her. Brooke is quick to pull back, trying to convince the ranger that she did nothing. Outside Alex is brawling with the ranger, as Brooke calls after him. As Alex continues his fight, Brooke asks him to be careful, before telling him to stop, just as the police show up. In Louis' quarters, Louis is watching over Alex and Brooke, just as Eric arrives in the room. He notifies Louis that the man they had met was in fact the missing park ranger, with Alex then asking what had happened to the ranger. Eric then explains that they had thought that the ranger had a mild stroke, getting lost in the woods and having suffered from dehydration amnesia. Brooke then says that thankfully Alex was at the scene, before asking how he learnt to fight in that way. Louis asks the two of them what they were doing in the area in the first place, as they knew there was a curfew. The two then stutter, as Brooke says that she had seen a flickering light and that she was curious. However, Louis then asks why she didn't just go to him, instead of wandering round in the dark. Brooke tries to cover up, by saying that she hadn't wanted to bother her father, which only causes Louis further annoyance, with him exclaiming that she could of been killed by the lunatic park ranger. Brooke then apologizes for her miss-actions, before Eric mentions that it'd be better if they called him the next time something like that happened, handing Alex a card with his direct line number on, telling Alex not to hesitate to call. Brooke then assures Alex that she hadn't known. In the clubhouse, Alex and Brooke arrive to find Daniel, who tells them that he had heard about the incident, thanking Alex for what he did for Brooke. Alex, in response tells him that it was no problem. There is then an awkward silence between the three, as Alex continues towards the clubhouse. Brooke then continues to thank Alex for all that he did.
Brooke goes to the party with Alex and enjoys her time over there. Just then Daniel hears Brooke laughing and looks up to see Brooke taking a selfie with Alex. Daniel to get up and hobble over, as Parker asks him where he was going. Daniel then suggests to Alex and Brooke that he took a picture of them together, but Brooke assures him that she had already gotten some good selfie shots. Daniel then says that he was sure she had, with Brooke then asking what it had meant, before Daniel bluntly said it meant nothing. After an awkward pause between the three of them, Alex then suggests that he take a photo of Brooke and Daniel, but Daniel just says that he didn't want to be a third wheel to his party. Alex then hands Brooke her Louie and heads over to Sophie. Back in the Eagles dormitory, Brooke is expressing her disbelief about Daniel's behaviour to Sophie. She tells her that one minute Daniel was fine, but that in the next he wasn't. Sophie then points out that Daniel was obviously going through some troubles, but that it didn't mean Brooke deserved to bare the brunt of it. Brooke, then says that that was what she had been saying, then realizing that Daniel was just mad at her because of the fact that she had accused his mother of the car accident. Brooke then thanks her friend, before asking Sophie about herself and Alex. Sophie then reveals that she had told Alex to ask her out, as a way of getting Daniel off of his back, then remarking that Alex wasn't afraid to be himself, adding that she that was pretty cool. Elsewhere in the Eagles dormitory, Parker is upset at Daniel for not following through on a favor. Back in the cafeteria, Brooke sees the glum look on Daniel's face, with him them seeing Jackie, who's also alone and they share a mutual toast.
In a flashback to the night of the party, Daniel and Brooke are still sitting at the table adjacent to the rest of the students, with Brooke trying to convince Daniel to get up and compete with her, making use of Daniel's crutch as a prop. However Daniel just tells her that he wasn't in the mood, just as Alex and Sophie start the game. The pair are then followed by Tammy and her date, as well as Becca and hers. Seeing the dancing, Brooke tells Daniel that as it was slow-dancing he had no excuse that time. However Daniel just tells her that it wouldn't happen. Brooke then turns round to see Alex on his own, before telling Daniel to have fun by himself. Brooke then gets up and heads over to Alex, with him asking what was up. Brooke says there was nothing much, as she puts her hands on his shoulders, beginning to dance with Alex. Brooke then rocks up, telling Daniel that she wasn't anyone's girl and that he was making a fool of himself. Daniel then admits that Brooke was nothing but a liar and a cheat, before Alex tells him to leave her alone. In anger, Daniel then picks up a cake, attempting to toss it at Alex, who dodges his toss. Daniel then angrily pushes all of the refreshments off of the table. Daniel then declares that he and Brooke were finished, with Brooke then remarking that he had taken the words right out of her mouth. Alex then remembers what he had seen the previous night, with Brooke asking him what he meant about her. Alex then reveals that he had seen Daniel's mother the previous night. Brooke then asks Alex where he had seen Judy, with Alex pointing to the location. Brooke then asks him whether it had been the same spot, that she had seen Marcus disappear in, being the same spot where they'd met the park ranger. Curious, Alex asks her whether she thought there was connection, as Brooke explains that it had all started when Daniel had found the park ranger's taser. Alex then says that even if Judy was responsible for getting Daniel off the hook, it still didn't explain why Judy had been there that night. Brooke then suggests that Judy had known about the park ranger that entire time, with Alex asking her what she meant. Brooke then says that it was possible that Judy wasn't trying to protect Daniel, but was instead trying to protect herself, then telling Alex that that had to be it. Alex then asks Brooke whether they should tell her father, but Brooke just tells him that Louis adored Judy and would never believe she could do any wrong. Brooke then asks Alex whether they could tell his father, but Alex is quick to point out that his father had just returned to his job and that he didn't want to drag him into the ordeal. Alex then realizes who they should call, pulling out the business card Eric had given him. Brooke then asks for clarification as to whether he had meant Eric, as Alex says that Eric was his father's best friend and that he knew they could trust him. Brooke then agrees to do so, before thanking Alex for believing in her, then going in for a kiss. Alex then calls Eric who then asks Brooke, whether she'd mind going down to the station with him, as they could take her deposition. Brooke then says that she would, before Eric mentions that they could make a quick stop beforehand, as there was something that he thought she'd want to see. Brooke then gives Alex a kiss , before heading off with Eric. 041b061a72
